Francine Porad
--for love and support of family and friends illuminate
her haiku and bring joy to enrich the lives of all who come to know
her.
She embraces family, friends, and life with a rare sense of humor.
This
humor infuses her haiku with both the “humor” of Basho
and some-times the humor of senryu, but, nevertheless they remain
to be and are haiku, indeed.
Personally, I find Francine to be one of the few leading poets
in the world of haiku today.
throughout the garden,
plants shared by generous friends
bloom in profusion
