I met Francine in 1977, when I was accepted into
membership
in the Northwest Watercolor Society. I had admired her paint-
ings well before we met, and it was wonderful to find the
painter as delightful as the paintings. Francine has amazed
me, over the years, with her boundless creativity and energy.
I am in awe of how much she is able to accomplish and how
gracefully effortless it seems. She is a treasure, as a friend,
an artist, and a poet.
